Can we please connect with a vet? Our one-year-old small dog, Luna, threw up about an hour ago after getting into the compost and eating most of a Gomacro Dark Chocolate & Almond protein decadence granola bar. We do not think it is an extraordinary amount of chocolate, and she has been acting fine except for the vomiting. She just fell asleep at her normal time after normal activities. Can we monitor her at home, and if so, what should we look for?

I’m worried about my 9.5-year-old black lab who is around 90lbs. She recently started panting mildly at midnight, which seemed odd. The panting has since subsided, but I noticed her gums are black, which I read could be potentially dangerous. Should I be concerned about her gum color, and what should I do if the panting persists?
