Do I need to take my mini doxi to the vet if she has a reaction to a rabies vaccine? She was given Benadryl, her breathing and drinking water are okay, but her snout is swollen and she has hives on her belly.

What should be the diet for my large labrador (over 100 lbs) who recently had intussusception and has been vomiting, with symptoms including undigested food, light-colored vomit, and liquid stool? He has had a light brown, normal amount of formed stool since the vomiting stopped, and I am trying to determine the appropriate diet for him.

My German Shepherd, 4.5 years old, has developed pulpitis in her upper right canine tooth, likely caused by gnawing on bones. What should be done in the early stages to treat this, and if it doesn't resolve, what is the recommended period to allow before considering a root canal?

My 14-year-old Yorkshire terrier woke up from a nap and collapsed, showing no muscle control in her limbs or neck, with open but unresponsive eyes, and lost control of her bladder and bowels. She was fine and active 15 minutes later. What happened?

My 45 lb dog may have eaten Mucinex Fast-Max Severe Congestion & Cold, which contains acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, guaifenesin, and phenylephrine. He is acting fine, but I want to know what symptoms to look for.

I am looking for newer options in treating a dog with inflamed pancreas. My current dog is an 8-year-old English Setter with high energy and high metabolism. She stopped eating her kibble, and after trying various home-cooked meals, she began vomiting. The vet diagnosed her with pancreatitis and prescribed medication. However, she refuses to eat the prescription food and has lost significant weight. I am concerned about her weight loss and looking for guidance on a diet that can help her maintain or gain weight without exacerbating her pancreatitis. Additionally, I want to understand if there are any studies supporting a diet with normal fat content for pancreatitis and if pancreatitis is common in senior dogs. What can I discuss with my vet to improve our progress?
