My dog, Chief, a 3-year-old, 90-pound German Shepherd Husky mix, has been experiencing skin allergies for a week, resulting in itching and fur loss. He is currently on Nexgard for flea prevention and recently started heartworm prevention medication. I gave him Benadryl (50 milligrams once a day for 3 days) but it didn't help. What can be done to alleviate his symptoms, and can certain medications or foods like heartworm prevention or honey potentially worsen his condition?

My 10-year-old Cockapoo, Pechette, has elevated liver enzyme results. She is due for a dental cleaning and her results were normal two years ago. She has a history of dental disease and only has about 6 or 7 teeth left. She is not on any medications. What could be causing the elevated liver enzymes and should we proceed with the dental cleaning?
