My 8-year-old pit bull was outside playing with my son and now she is limping on her right hind leg without any visible trauma. She does not seem to be in much pain and can walk on all four legs when needed. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 11-year-old toy poodle, Napoleon, fell out of my arms onto concrete and had a seizure. He seemed off balance after the fall and has horizontal nystagmus. What could be causing this and how long should the balance issues last?

I have a schnauzer mix who will turn 2 years in June. He's very fast in running and jumping off a chair or bed with no problem. But this morning he leaped off the bed, ran to the front door, and shortly after was unable to walk. He tried to get up but would fall, his back legs would not stretch, and his entire body was shaking. I'm thinking it was a cramp, so I started massaging his back legs, his back end, and his entire back. He was back to normal after about 5 minutes of constant massaging. He has been fine until just 20 minutes ago when he started the same thing all over again. This time he got up quickly and barked at a cat walking across our front porch. What is going on with my dog?

My four-month-old brindle boxer puppy, Sadie, had an allergic reaction causing her eyes to swell and hives. She was given Benadryl and a steroid shot, but later developed severe hives again, lethargy, refusal to eat or drink, and frequent vomiting of bile. Should we take her back to the emergency vet tonight or wait until the morning to see the vet?
