Eddie hasn't been eating much over the last few days, and his hind legs suddenly lost strength. He seems to be getting worse, struggles to move, and has been eating snow and drinking little water. He vomited once after a vet visit where he received antibiotics and a nausea injection. His gums are red and sticky, and he shows signs of discomfort when laying on his chest. My 10-year-old Shih Tzu, Bella Marie, is experiencing vomiting and diarrhea for about three days. She is eating sparsely and drinking some water. We have a 10-year-old black lab who had surgery 3 months ago for an infection in his leg. Since then, he has developed a scabby skin condition and inflammation on his scrotum, followed by a severe dry nose, cracking, scabbing, and peeling. The vet suggested using bag balm, but the condition persists. The dog is otherwise healthy, with the same energy, good appetite, and sense of smell. What could be causing the persistent nose condition, and should we be concerned about long-term effects or if it is painful or fatal?
