Good morning. My dog, Belle, who is 6 or 7 years old and weighs around 45 lb, just ate two NexGard tablets for dogs 24.1 to 60 lb. She has had intestinal surgery and is missing a small piece of her intestines. Is there anything I need to do?

My 1-year-old Chihuahua, who weighs 3 lbs, is on prednisone steroids after having meningitis last week. He takes 3/4 of a 2.5mg tablet twice a day. I'm worried because he is still very subdued and won't eat much, even with home-cooked food. Is this normal, as I've read he should have an increased appetite?
