Hi, my 6-month-old Border Collie pup chewed a part of his back side until it caused irritation. I have treated it with antiseptic, salt water baths, and liquid zinc, and found and treated fleas. However, he is still itching and the area is still discharging. How long will it take to heal and why do you think he is still itchy?

My Borzoi, Sylvie, has had jaw chattering for several years, which has recently become more pronounced and almost constant. I suspect it might be related to her teeth needing a deep cleaning. Additionally, I experienced issues with my credit/debit card being rejected when trying to pay for the answer to my previous question, despite correcting the entry. Can you provide any insight into Sylvie's condition and address the payment issue?

I have a 7-year-old chocolate lab with ongoing anal gland issues for 6-7 months. Despite antibiotics and special allergy food, one gland healed but the other remains open. The area has no smell, and the dog rarely scoots. Warm compresses seem to help temporarily, but the dog is sometimes slow to get up. I've used derma-vet ointment and the dog is currently on clindamycin. The dog has also been shaking its head recently. What could be causing the persistent issue and the head shaking, and what further steps should I take?
