Hi, my dog just had about 5 minutes of dry-heaving with no vomit produced. He seemed anxious during that time. He's since stopped, and seems pretty normal; rolled over for pets, and is lying on the couch now. His tummy feels a little full but doesn't seem sensitive or hard. I know dry-heaving can be an emergency, but since he seems OK now, is it OK to monitor him at home? He is 6 years old and a 65 pound mutt.
