How can I get antibiotics for an infection in my 14-year-old Jack Russell Terrier named Carter, who weighs about 20lbs? The dog has been experiencing vomiting and diarrhea for 3-4 days, is lethargic, and has pale gums with slightly labored breathing. Carter was diagnosed with CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) 5 years ago and had fluid drained from his abdomen 8 days ago, which may have caused the infection. He is currently on at-home oxygen therapy and is in discomfort while pooping.
