My dog, Onyx, has a swollen hock and is now walking on three legs. There are no wounds, just tight swelling. We took him to the vet two weeks ago, who prescribed anti-inflammatory meds, but they haven't worked, and the swelling has doubled in size. What could be causing this and what should we do next?

My 11-year-old Springer Spaniel, Hunter, has stopped eating, won't touch his rawhide bones, is shedding excessively, licks his lips often, and has difficulty going down steps due to pain in his front legs. His coat looks shiny but is very close, as if shaved in some areas. He recently stopped eating normally for about a week. What could be causing these issues and what should I do?

My 8-year-old dog, Lee, is having difficulty walking, sitting on stairs with her back legs in a seated position and front legs straight on the stairs, and is very shaky and panting heavily when laying down. She sometimes has leg cramps while running and can jump on the couch with encouragement. She is eating and has gone to the bathroom normally, and does not vocalize pain. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I check?

Hi. The hair in my dog's pinna started falling off and he was scratching them all the time. I brought him to the vet who started him on antibiotics with no improvement and then steroids with no improvement. He now has no hair in his pinna and still scratching if you touch them he yelps. I was told that the circulation from his ears is gone and that they may eventually fall off. Is there anything I can do to stop him scratching? I don't know what would have caused it?
