My vet says my dog, Olive, who is one year old, has a high pH. I am trying to find a dog food to help with this issue. Is there a specific type of dog food that can help stabilize urine pH to avoid stone or crystal formation?

My dog has been taking Prednisone for a week to help with arthritic/disc pain and presumably cancer, but it's not helping. She seems just as stiff but more out of it & today the increased appetite we had been seeing is gone. Can I switch her back to Carprofen tomorrow without ill effect? And add Tramadol? Her vet had said euthanasia made sense, given her affect and blood work. Now I can't reach her. Just want to make my dog as comfortable as we can for the next few days.

Good afternoon. I have a 12-year-old Chihuahua with heart problems. Her stool has become loose over the last couple of days and today it was a bit bloody. She is on medications including Prednisone, Pimobendan, Enalapril, Spironolactone, Fursemide, and Hydrone/Homatropine. She still has plenty of energy and her appetite is good. Should I stop any medication or food?
