I adopted my 7-month-old puppy about 4 weeks ago. Everything has been fine health-wise, but today I noticed she is biting her hind leg near her butt. There is a scab there, the size of a nickel, but the hair is still there, and there is no balding. Should I call the vet first thing in the morning, or is it okay since she isn't losing hair?

My 5-year-old Australian Shepherd, Phoenix, has suddenly started having seizures this year. He is on vet meds (Potassium Bromide 250ML morning and night) and calming pills.
