I bought a puppy named Timber, a mini Aussie, from a pet store. He has had a cough since I got him, and it has worsened, with occasional wheezing and shallow breathing. He was treated with Clavavox at the store but was not given any medication when I bought him. He is eating and drinking well but seems more tired than usual and has trouble sleeping. His breathing is uneven and forced at times. What can I do to help him until I can get him to the vet?

My 8-year-old Dachshund, Lucy, is very uncomfortable and listless. She is eating and going to the bathroom, but is very lethargic. She awkwardly lifts up her right paw when sitting down and sometimes cries when picked up. We suspect she may have injured her back or neck. Are there any safe pain relievers we could give her until we can get to the vet?

My MIL’s dog, Jazzy, a one-year-old puppy weighing about 14lbs, got a hold of her A-fib medication, Multaq, which is a 400mg pill. When did Jazzy ingest the pill, and has she thrown up since then?

I have an eight-year-old soft coat Wheaton terrier named Cooper. He has started peeing and pooping in the house, itches constantly to the point of crying when he scratches, and bites himself when not scratching. He has been on numerous medications but nothing is helping. His food has been changed, but the itching persists. He does not have fleas. The peeing and pooping started about nine months ago, and he seems a little depressed, drinks lots of water, and has digestive problems, vomiting foamy stomach bile. He was treated for a UTI several months ago. What could be causing these issues and what can be done to help him?

My 9-month-old Maltipoo, Ryder, occasionally eats her own poop and has recently had trouble with firm stools. She has not seen a vet and is not on any medications. What can be done to address these issues, and how can I ensure the dog food I'm giving her provides all necessary nutrients?

My dog potentially ate gum containing xylitol. The dog weighs 40lbs, and one or two pieces of gum were eaten. What should I do, and what are the potential symptoms and risks of hypoglycemia?
