🐕  Dog Health

I have a 10-day-old donkey that got its right back hoof stuck in a fence, causing a deep cut above the hoof and behind the bone at the base of the foot. The donkey was stuck for several hours and is now limping and laying down a lot. What should I do to treat the injury and ensure the donkey's health?

My dog has severe thunder phobia and has been taking alprazolam (on max dose) but does not help. My vet wants to do alprazolam and ACE together rather than trying diazaphem because diazaphem is a controlled medicine and cannot prescribe a lot of it. I have a friend whose dog has thunder phobia and is on diazaphem with great results. I'm reluctant to put my dog on ACE as she is 8 years old and has been on ACE for thunder phobia for a few years already. What is the best course of action for my dog?

My 9-year-old Pomeranian (18 lbs) has had diarrhea for a few days, otherwise, he is his normal self other than discomfort in his anal area. He has been on a homemade diet of white rice, chicken, fresh veggies with occasional dry kibble for at least 5 years and appears much younger than he is. The other day I looked away for a moment as I was disposing of a waste bag and caught him licking some human vomit that was on the ground. Other than that, he had a new treat over the weekend made by Dingo, a chicken treat. At this point, his stool is just liquid and gel-like, but he is strong and hasn't lost his appetite. Should I take him to the vet?
