I have a 13-year-old German Shepherd Chow cross who is now paralyzed and incontinent. We live in a remote community, and I would like to tranquilize her before she is put down. The only drug I have on hand is Zopiclone 7.5mg. How many pills would it take to sedate her effectively?

My dog was neutered 4 days ago. He has been uncomfortable since but not too bad. I just noticed redness and tenderness of skin near his penis on his stomach. It is after hours and I have to work soon. He is urinating and defecating normally and he's not in too much discomfort. Can I wait until morning, about 12 hours, to see my vet?
