My 6-week-old puppy, Rogue, has had diarrhea for the last couple of days. She ate a small piece of pineapple and puppy food recently. She seems uncomfortable but is alert and mobile. What can I do to help her feel better?

I have a 6 lb Yorkie named Reese, who is about 12 years old. Flea and tick products like Frontline Plus and Advantix cause him to lose control of his back legs. He also had a bad reaction to an oral flea/tick pill. What can I do to protect him from fleas and ticks without causing him to become crippled or harm him?

I think my dog has mouth cancer. He has a bloody cyst on the inside of his gum and is bleeding a lot. Can I give human ibuprofen or Tylenol for pain until his vet appointment on Tuesday?

My 7-year-old dog, Ozzy, is wimpering and crying for no visible reason. He seems to have behavioral changes, is picky with his appetite, growls under his breath, cries high-pitched wimpering noises, seems irritable, avoids playing with his sister, and his body temperature seems colder than normal. What could be causing this and what can I do to help him?

My 70-pound lab, Bo (8 years old), was accidentally given a double dose of Trazodone (200mg at 5 pm and another 200mg at 5:30). The prescription is for 200mg every 12 hours as needed for calming due to knee surgery. Should we watch him for symptoms at home or get him to a vet?
