I have a 4-month-old Shar Pei named Boogie who is breathing rapidly, has a firm tummy, is passing gas, and is lethargic. She had a teaspoon of plain yogurt on her food and has had gastritis before. What could be causing her symptoms and what should I do?

What is the best way to remove tartar from my dog’s teeth? I have been brushing her teeth without much improvement. I keep getting ads for PetLabCo powder that you put in their food but I’m not sure how safe it is.

I accidentally gave my 31-pound dog, Loki, who is 4 years old, 2 doses of phenobarbital instead of his usual 1 dose. He is currently sleepy. Should I take him to the emergency vet?

My dog ate a whole 170g bar of white chocolate. He is a 30kg American staffy and is 4 years old. Should I seek a vet immediately or monitor him?

I have a dog malchi mix. She is hiding under the bed, sleeping all day, has lower appetite, and is snapping at our male dog and my small daughter. She had a heat cycle a few months back and recently had blood on the carpet. I noticed a milk-like discharge from her breast. What could be wrong with her?

My dog, Buddy, has a collapsing trachea and can't stop coughing. He is 14 years old and not on any medications except Gold Lung. He has no history of heart disease but has a voracious appetite and is slowing down a bit, losing a little weight. The cough is a honking cough followed by a little gag but no phlegm. The vet has diagnosed him with collapsing trachea and prescribed meds that helped for a while. What can be done to manage his condition until his next vet appointment on March 5?
