I have a 4-month-old standard schnauzer named Augie. He gets extremely hyper every evening, leading to frequent urination. He pees about every 5 or 6 minutes, even after being taken outside. Crating during this hyper period doesn't help as he pees in his crate. During the day, he can hold it for hours and doesn't pee in his crate. He sleeps through the night without issues. What could be causing this behavior and how can I address it?

My dog has a hot spot that is about 80% healed. I am using Betagen Topical Spray for 14 days, Cephalexin 250mg twice a day for 10 days, and considering laser therapy for faster healing. I have questions about the safety of Betagen beyond 7 days, the need for topical ointments after the initial healing phase, the duration of Cephalexin treatment, and the effectiveness of laser therapy for hot spots.

My dog has been very low energy for the last few days. He hasn't been going to the bathroom regularly (small amounts) and this morning he didn't eat his food, which has never happened before. He seems like his normal self (aside from what I just mentioned) just at half speed. What should I be looking for and what should I do?

My 2 1/2 year old, 5 lb chihuahua, who is normally very active, has not been wanting to get up even to eat or go to the bathroom. She hides from me under the bed if she gets a chance. About a week ago, she went to jump up on the recliner with me and let out a loud 'yelp.' After that, she would sometimes whine when trying to jump or stand on her back legs. I took her to my vet who couldn't find a reason for her condition. He gave me pain meds which made her very drowsy. This all is so unlike my baby and I am really worried. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 12 lb Pekingese ate a piece of dog food that had been sprayed with ant killer containing prallethrin and lambda cyhalothrin. She is acting fine. What should I do, and can I let her drink water? The label on the can says not to if ingested.
