I have a 4-year-old Newfoundland who hasn't been eating much over the last couple of days, has started whining at random times, and seems to want more attention than usual. She is otherwise acting normally, and I have checked her for any signs of pain, but I'm worried as this isn't usual behavior for her. What could be causing this behavior and what should I do?

I recently had to put my 14-year-old pitbull to sleep due to a large hemangiosarcoma tumor on her heart and fluid buildup in her abdomen. I feel guilty for making the decision quickly and wonder if I should have tried more treatments or taken her to a specialized emergency hospital. Could I have done more to prolong her life or was putting her to sleep the right decision?

My 12-year-old Maltese terrier, Lady, had her spleen removed due to splenic stromal sarcoma in February 18. She started having seizures and is on Keppra, 0.7ml three times a day. This is her first week on Keppra, and she now has a cough, is unsteady, urinates frequently near her bed, is listless, and has no appetite. She has also vomited and has a wheezy cough. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should we do?
