I have a male smooth collie mix with Cushing's disease. He's nine years old and has been with me since he was a stray at 3 months old. He's gasping for air, has a big tummy, and mostly rests until it's time to eat or drink. I'm wondering how he feels and if it's time to consider euthanasia. I feel I may be delaying this decision for my own sake.

I have an 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Elsa who is suddenly having difficulty maintaining her balance on surfaces other than carpet. She was also angry this morning and could only eat a few bites of food before retreating. She is now on a daily regimen of steroids. What could be causing her new symptoms and should the veterinarian be aware of her previous condition?

My 15-year-old York Terrier named Fez gets really weak, to the point of collapsing, after pooping. He had a severe episode on Monday, and I thought he had a stroke. I took him to the vet, who conducted blood work and several skeleton x-rays, but everything came back okay. My dog had a deep dental cleaning and is now pooping gel-like blood. He is a toy Yorkie, barely five pounds, and was kept at the vet longer than expected. His blood work was normal, but he is now lethargic and has been pooping a lot of gel-like blood since the procedure.
