I have a 5-year-old female Chihuahua weighing about 6 lbs. She has been licking her behind frequently and I noticed a couple of scabs around her anus. She is eating and drinking normally but is excessively licking and rubbing her bum on the floor. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog has elevated liver enzymes and excessive fluid in his belly. Ultrasounds of his heart and liver showed no abnormalities. Extensive blood work was all normal other than the liver enzymes. He is not in distress, other than his breathing sounds a bit wheezy at night when he is sleeping. He is eating well and has maintained his normal activity level. We've spent over $1,000 on tests and a round of antibiotics, but no further ahead in figuring out what is wrong with him. Do you have any ideas?

My dog threw up last night and has had bloody diarrhea today. She is also unable to keep water down and seems lethargic. Our other dogs have had mild diarrhea episodes recently. What could be causing this and what should I do?
