I have a 6-week-old puppy that had poop stuck to his bum. I accidentally cut off some skin while trying to remove it with grooming scissors. The puppy cut himself about 10 minutes ago, and there was a small amount of bleeding. I have put an ice pack on his bum. My 14-year-old Bichon mix dog has a level 4 heart murmur and an occasional hacking cough. My vet started him on Vetmedin, Enalapril Maleate, and Lasix. After 5 days on these meds, he is clingy, lethargic, and has an irregular heartbeat. He was not experiencing these issues before starting the meds and was quite energetic. Should I stop the meds, and what should I do if his heartbeat remains irregular?

Hello! My Chihuahua is 15 years old and has kidney disease. She is coughing when she exerts herself, which doesn't happen all the time. My veterinarian wants to do an X-ray. I thought X-rays were for bone mass and could not detect soft tissue problems. Please advise.
