I have a 9.5-year-old female Alaskan Malamute weighing about 130 pounds, who has been about 15 pounds overweight since she was 5. She has difficulty going down 17 steps from the second floor, cries, and has a sudden fear of descending. She also has a drunken sailor gait, bunny hopping when trying to run, and muscle quivering in her hind legs and shoulders. She is currently on Rimadyl, chondroitin, glucosamine, and ester vitamin C. What could be causing these symptoms and what treatment options are available?

My 4-week-old Rottweiler puppy has not had a bowel movement in a day or so. What can I give him to help him with this? He has been bottle-fed since birth because the mother would not feed them.

My 19-month-old Gordon/Irish/English setter mix, who has a history of ear infections and allergic dermatitis, has recently developed alopecia and edema around the corner of his mouth. I have an ophthalmic ointment containing dexamethasone. Should I wait on this treatment if it could be fungal? I also have him on Keflex and Rimadyl until my vet opens tomorrow.
