I have a 9-week-old chocolate lab with an ear infection. The vet prescribed Otomax, which seemed to worsen the condition with bumps and discharge. The vet then switched to Posatex and Cefpodoxime, but the ears still look the same. Will it take time for the treatment to work, and should I be cleaning the ears with a solution like Epi-Otic or Oticalm?

My dog has swallowed a piece of blanket. How do I get her to vomit? She is a five-year-old Doberman that chews a micro mesh blanket and usually just spits out the pieces.
