I have a 9-year-old female beagle named Callie who is showing signs of lethargy, cervical guarding, loss of appetite, and lameness in her front left shoulder/leg. Her brother, also a beagle, often has similar symptoms and has been treated with muscle relaxants, pain meds, and rest. Callie is still eating but only soft foods and treats. What could be causing these symptoms, and what treatment options are available?

My dog, Linus, has been vomiting for about 12 hours and hasn't been able to keep anything down, including water. He's 5.5 years old, weighs 54 lbs, and we recently switched his flea medicine to Vectra 3D. I have Zofran (4 mg dissolving tablets) and am considering giving it to him to avoid an emergency vet visit until my regular vet opens tomorrow. Is this advisable, and what else should I do?
