I have a 9-year-old Maltese. She was fine the day before, but now she is struggling to walk, especially with her right front leg, and often falls to her right side. I am concerned about a possible spinal injury or nerve damage. How can I observe her at home, and what should I look for to determine the cause of her condition?

My dog, a yellow lab, is experiencing a loss of bowel control, pooping on her bed or in the garage without seeming to realize it. She exercises regularly, is active, and appears healthy otherwise, eating Beneful Healthy Weight dog food. What could be causing this issue and what can be done to address it?

My three-year-old chihuahua mix, Rocky, has a tiny bump beside his anus. It is flesh-colored, barely raised, and about the size of the tip of a pencil point. Rocky shows no other issues and is acting normally. Is there any way to determine if this is something that might need immediate evaluation?

My dog is at an animal hospital due to severe bloating and retching without producing anything. X-rays showed her stomach was distended but not GDV. After releasing gas, they kept her for observation. She vomited food and grass, and a recent x-ray suggests she ate a cloth object. The vet gave her antiemetics, which I'm concerned about as her body was trying to expel the object. Was giving her antiemetics a good idea, and why?

We have a 12-year-old cockapoo who has recently become more difficult to get to eat. She still stools, is active, and drinks water, but has seizures and is on Phenobarbital, which she also refuses. Is there a vet visit in our future?
