We have a 12-year-old cockapoo who has recently become more difficult to get to eat. She still stools, is active, and drinks water, but has seizures and is on Phenobarbital, which she also refuses. Is there a vet visit in our future?

My 5-year-old American Bulldog has swollen legs/paws and loose hair on those legs and part of her back. She was given an Ampicillin shot and Cephalexin twice a day, but there's no improvement. What should the vet look for when I take her back today?

I have a small dog, 6 lbs, who has a swollen throat likely from a bee sting. I gave him baby liquid Benadryl but possibly too large a dose. He woke up shaking and growling, and was taken to the vet where his temperature, heart, and breathing were normal, so he was sent home with no treatment. Now, he is vomiting yellow bile and his skin is bright red. He does not appear to have any sore or tender areas. What should I do?

I have a 2.5-year-old Shih Tzu who has high platelet counts (PLT 565,000 and PCT) during her heat cycle. The vet mentioned it's rare for a dog of her age to have high platelets. Should I be concerned, and are there any additional tests or physical signs to look for?
