I have a neutered pug with low thyroid count on soloxine 2 mg twice a day. He is fed once a day with diet food, but he isn't losing weight and is breathing hard with swelling. I feed him about 12-14 oz of food daily. What could be causing his weight gain and breathing issues, and what additional tests or changes should I consider?
