I have a skipper kee diagnosed with diabetes. She hasn't had her insulin today because she won't eat, and when she drinks water she vomits. It's late at night on a holiday weekend, and I don't have the money to take her to the nearest vet, an hour away. Is there anything I can do? I'll find a way to take her if I must.

Why does my female black lab have tiny red bumps on all four legs with hair loss, bloody welts under her chin, hair loss at the top of her tail with flaking scabs, and she seems to have no energy and lays down all the time? Could it be a scabie mange parasite?

My 4-year-old Havanese female has had runny, dark brown stool for about a week, was lethargic for two days but rallied with a good appetite and normal behavior, changed her diet to rice and ground beef, but now she is vomiting bile and undigested rice, and has blood in her stool. What could be the issue and what should I do?

Last night I walked my 17-year-old border collie and she encountered maggots on the ground near a garbage can. She did not eat any of the material the maggots were on, but she might have eaten one or two maggots. Should I be concerned about her health?
