I have a small dog named Ellie, weighing 5 kg, who was mistakenly given double the recommended dosage of 10mg Loesec tablet (1/2 tablet twice a day instead of 1/2 tablet once a day) for two days. She is now showing symptoms of not wanting to eat, having gas and diarrhea, and sleeping a lot. Is this a reaction to the medication, and will it stop once the medication is out of her system?
