🐕  Dog Health

I have an 80lb, 7.5-year-old spayed Golden Retriever on phenobarb twice daily for seizures. A couple of days ago, I noticed two patches of skin, each about the size of a fifty-cent piece, on her back, a few inches down from her shoulders. They are dry, scabbing, and worrisome because I don't know how they got there or the best way to treat them. What could these patches be, and how should I treat them?

The patches on your Golden Retriever's back could be indicative of a bacterial infection, though fun...
