I adopted my 7-month-old puppy about 4 weeks ago. Everything has been fine health-wise, but today I noticed she is biting her hind leg near her butt. There is a scab there, the size of a nickel, but the hair is still there, and there is no balding. Should I call the vet first thing in the morning, or is it okay since she isn't losing hair?

My dog Benny was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and had a blood transfusion. He is now home, eating, drinking a lot, and seems tired. He has vomited a few times. What is the normal recovery process after a blood transfusion, and are there any natural herbs that could help him?

I am looking for a vet that will come to my home for my 10.5-year-old Newfoundland dog, weighing 180 lbs, who has several tumors, arthritis, and difficulty getting up. She has been on medication for her condition and was previously seen by Dr. Fred Beeman, but his number is disconnected. What options do I have for finding a vet who can provide house call services in my area?

My dog ate an 800 mg Bactrim pill. He is an 8-month-old cockapoo named Digger, weighing about 15 pounds. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Digger?

My 4-year-old Yorkie, Penni, ate gopher pellets containing zinc phosphide and has vomited three times. I gave her 2 antacid tablets, 1,000 mg each, and she weighs 12 lbs. What should I do?
