I have two 4lb Chihuahuas (ages 2 & 3) that were originally eating Blue Buffalo grain-free for small dogs but frequently vomited. My vet suggested switching to WD prescription food, which stopped the vomiting. However, their poop has become dry and crumbly with undigested food, likely due to the larger kibble size and difficulty chewing, especially for my dog with incomplete adult teeth. Should this concern me?

My 11-year-old Brittany Spaniel has been slowing down and having trouble with her legs due to arthritis and Lyme disease. Despite trying various supplements and Rimadyl, she shows no improvement. I'm considering using prednisone to improve her quality of life. What would be the best starting dose for prednisone, and should I taper it based on her response?
