My mother's 8-year-old Sheltie vomited bile, has had loose bowels, is drinking water but not eating, and had difficulty coming down the stairs. Did he get into something while outside, or is it a stomach bug that can be managed?

I have a rescued dog who has shown aggressive behavior, including biting. He bit me twice when I had his toy and recently bit my arm very badly after growling aggressively. This morning, he was sweet and loving. Could this behavior be related to a thyroid issue, and what steps should I take to address this?

Should I continue with my current veterinarian? A year ago, they scheduled an appointment to pull 14 teeth for my dog, Lucky, and later diagnosed nine growths under her eyelid as cancer. I am concerned about the number of procedures and whether they were necessary.

My 9-year-old Pomeranian (18 lbs) has had diarrhea for a few days, otherwise, he is his normal self other than discomfort in his anal area. He has been on a homemade diet of white rice, chicken, fresh veggies with occasional dry kibble for at least 5 years and appears much younger than he is. The other day I looked away for a moment as I was disposing of a waste bag and caught him licking some human vomit that was on the ground. Other than that, he had a new treat over the weekend made by Dingo, a chicken treat. At this point, his stool is just liquid and gel-like, but he is strong and hasn't lost his appetite. Should I take him to the vet?
