I just adopted an 8-month-old Belgian Malinois from a rescue organization. She is very loving but not as high-energy as typical for the breed. I've been taking her on bike rides, and she initially did well, but recently stopped suddenly, causing me to fall off the bike. She then refused to move and later exhibited similar behavior on another ride. What could be causing this and how should I proceed with her exercise routine?
