I need to find a vet who is willing to treat a deaf dog. Many vets believe these dogs should be put to sleep and do not deserve a chance at life. Any ideas?

I have an 8-month-old Westie who was neutered on 7th August 2009. I noticed that the scrotum was not removed along with the testicles. What is the purpose of leaving the scrotum after neutering?

I have a Lab who is a year and a half old and has been having problems with vomiting, usually yellow bile but occasionally food. The frequency varies from a week without vomiting to 2 or 3 times a day. I changed his food from Lamb to chicken, which helped some but didn't solve the problem. Chewable Pepto helps some too, but still doesn't solve the problem. What suggestions do you have?

My dog won't eat anything, not even people food, and the vet suspects an autoimmune deficiency. What should I do or what's the best way to handle this?

My 6-year-old Sheltie has become lethargic over the last 7 months. He was neutered a year ago and gained 12 lbs but has since lost 8 lbs. He breathes heavily when I take him for a walk and it takes over 30 minutes to walk 8 blocks. I had a full panel blood screening done and his thyroid is very slightly to the low normal end. His cholesterol is at a slightly high normal. His heart sounds good, but when we walk he sounds like he is snoring. I put him on thyroid meds for a short time with no result. Any ideas?
