I purchased a long-haired German Shepherd puppy last week. He was born on December 14th and has shown signs of being lethargic, having abdominal discomfort, and making strange noises in his stomach and chest cavity. He also had a large number of tape worms, which were treated, but the discomfort persists. I am concerned about possible megaesophagus or another vascular ring anomaly. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do next?

Our 8 1/2 year old male golden retriever, Jackson, died suddenly on January 18th. He had been doing fine and had a vet visit in October. In November, he had diarrhea with mucus and some blood, which resolved after a few weeks. He then had a few nights with increased bathroom trips, but his stool returned to normal. He passed away suddenly in the early morning. The animal hospital suggested it might be a seizure or related to his brain or heart. Did I neglect him, and should I have done something differently?

I have a 12-year-old Lhasa who has been on antibiotics for heartworm treatment for about 2 weeks. She recently stopped eating her new food, hasn't eaten in 3-4 days, is shaking, and has labored breathing. I'm unsure if this is due to being sick, a reaction to the antibiotics, not liking the new food, or an empty stomach reaction to the antibiotics. She ate a little canned chicken but refused the rest. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
