I recently lost my 10-year-old Walker Hound to paralysis in his front legs within 48 hours, suspected to be caused by a herniated disk, tumor, or stroke. My 95-year-old mother is deeply affected by this loss. I am considering adopting a Jindo from a Canadian shelter, but the dog has a bent ear. Is it possible to surgically repair the ear, and what are your thoughts on the breed and dogs from the Far East?

My dog, Sully, a 11-year-old pit bull, suddenly started almost falling over, flinching when petted, vomiting (mostly solid food with some diarrhea-like substance), and staggering when walking.
