I have a six-year-old mini schnauzer named Jax who has been coughing again, mostly when laying down, and licking his feet and lips excessively. His gums are tacky but he's not dehydrated, and he's acting 110% normal otherwise. Should I take him to an unfamiliar vet now, or wait until I can see our regular vet on the 26th?

I am having second thoughts about putting my 9-year-old dog to sleep after he was diagnosed with severe anemia, possibly due to babesiosis or immune-mediated anemia. Despite multiple blood transfusions and treatments, his condition worsened. I am feeling intense guilt and wondering if I made the right decision or if there was more I could have done. Could his condition have been caused by a ruptured spleen due to a previous trauma?

My dog has been shivering, panting, acting quiet and not feeling well, with no fever, vomiting, or diarrhea. Her nose is wet, gums are pink, and she hasn't been eating much. She recently jumped off the bed and limped, but now seems fine. What should I look for and do?

My dog just got accidentally poked in her eye. Her eye has turned bluish on about 3/4 of it and is a bit hazy. She is acting normally and it is not watering, but I am not sure if it will heal on its own.

My dog got sick early this morning. I attributed it to eating a rawhide, but this evening, his left side of the snout and under his snout are swollen. Is this something that could wait until the morning for help, or do we need to take him to an emergency care facility?
