Over the past few weeks, I have noticed symptoms such as nausea, teeth chattering, and occasional loss of balance. I have a vet appointment this Friday but am worried. My Chihuahua mix is having seizures. He has been diagnosed with a liver shunt and has been experiencing these symptoms for just over 4 hours. The seizures are ongoing and have been off and on since 5pm. He is currently unable to eat or drink, and we tried to give him some lactulose (0.6mL dosage around 5pm). What should we do, and what additional information should the vet know?
