My 1-year-old male neutered Boxer, Kaos, who is currently prescribed Apoquel for allergies, is still almost constantly itching. My pet, a baby pug named Donut, has been groaning, flexing her belly, and whining all day. It sounds like she wants to throw up but can't. She was recently adopted a week ago and had a hernia treated with antibiotics. She has a checkup soon, but I'm unsure if her current symptoms are related to the hernia. Aside from the whining, she doesn't show other behavioral changes and walks normally. What could be causing her discomfort, and what should I do in the meantime?
