My 10-month-old basset hound, LeeLoo, ate a small glue stick for hot glue guns. The package indicates it is non-toxic and conforms to ASTM D4236. She is acting normally and has not vomited. What should I do?

My Yorkiepoo, PeeWee, gets upset when my husband goes away and stops eating. This time, after my husband left, PeeWee vomited several times, mostly gastric foam. He vomited a small amount of shredded chicken and tramadol he had been given. His stool is normal, and he is voiding, but he is not drinking much water. What should I do to help PeeWee until I can see the vet?

Our dog, Gracie, a 20-pound mini Australian Shepherd and Poodle mix, may have ingested one or two 5mg Finasteride pills. She is almost two years old and seems fine. What are the potential side effects and should we take any action?

My mini schnauzer, who weighs 16.4 lbs and has a history of recurrent UTIs with E.Coli bacteria, was prescribed Cefpodoxime Proxetil 200 mg - 1/2 tab every 24 hours. After the first dose, she experienced side effects such as paw licking, drooling, and loss of appetite. I reduced the dosage to 50 mg every 12 hours, which seemed to alleviate the side effects. Is it okay to continue with 50 mg every 12 hours instead of 100 mg every 24 hours? Additionally, my vet is concerned about antibiotic resistance and plans to use a stronger antibiotic for a shorter period, followed by a break and reculture. What should I do now?
