I have 2 lab mixes, Magic and Brody, both 3.5 years old, who are experiencing ear issues including headshaking, redness, and black/red gunk. The symptoms have worsened over the last week, possibly due to allergies after moving to a new state. They were also having redness around their paws, which improved with Apoquel, but their ear issues are getting worse. What should I do until I can get them to a vet?

He has been eating and drinking normally, and no other behaviors have changed. The congestion started less than a week ago but more than 3 days. He just turned 1 year old and had a sterilization surgery on the 15th. He has been wearing a cone since the surgery. What could be causing this and what should I do?
