My 12-year-old male dog, Loki, started dry heaving tonight around 6 PM. He has been fine all day and had a vet appointment earlier today. He tried a small amount of goat milk for the first time, about a tablespoon or two, and later chewed on a plush toy but did not swallow any stuffing. He is not coughing and his breathing is stable, but he seems uncomfortable. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog is on a raw meat diet and has been experiencing blockage issues while trying to poop. I felt the blockage with my finger and found white chunks in his vomit, which I believe are pieces of calcium. Is this attached to his insides or will it come out? It felt pretty big.
