My 12-year-old dog, Drama, was diagnosed with a UTI and prescribed Clavamox 375mg chewable tablets. However, he is difficult to medicate and has shown signs of lethargy, not eating, and whining. How dangerous is a UTI for dogs, what other problems can arise from it, what symptoms should I look for, and could he be having a reaction to the antibiotics?

My sister has a 1-year-old rescue puppy that is part terrier and part shitzeu. He is high-strung but extremely intelligent. My sister is very OCD and gets upset when he doesn't follow her commands exactly. I've advised her that he's still a puppy and needs training, not yelling.
