My dog Sammy has had diarrhea for nearly a week, possibly due to ingesting grass sprayed with herbicides. I've been feeding him rice and chicken, and giving him Pepto Bismol, which seems to be helping. Sammy is a 12-year-old shepherd/St. Bernard mix. Is there anything else I can do?

My 5-year-old 55lb black lab, Artemis, is experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, and possibly in heat. She left a small puddle of watery blood on the patio. An on-call vet suggested colitis and to administer Pepto-Bismol tablets. Is Nauzene comparable, and how much should I give? She hasn't eaten anything unusual, but she vomited once at my parents' house and twice since we got home. Is there anything else I should know or do?

I have a male Coton de Tulear who will be 4 years old in April. He constantly barks during the daytime, often with low volume barks mixed with growling, even when there is no activity outside. The problem has worsened over the last year. I have tried a vibration collar and spraying water at his face during barking episodes, but the issue persists. I am hesitant to use anti-anxiety medications like trazodone and Alprazolam daily due to concerns about long-term effects. What suggestions do you have to address this barking problem?
