My 12-year-old Shih Tzu, Max, has had two episodes in a week where he fell to his side, rubbed his head on the floor, and whimpered for about a minute, followed by a high squeal and head shaking in the middle of the night. He also has a slight cough and was diagnosed with a heart murmur a few years ago. Is he having seizures, and what can be done to help his symptoms?

Our 1 year old lab appears to have allergies. Overnight her eyes have become swollen and her ears seem to be bothering her as well. She also vomited yesterday. What can we do to relieve her symptoms and determine if the two issues are related?

I have a 5-year-old boxer who suddenly refuses to eat, has cold nose, tongue, and ears, and is lethargic, wanting to cuddle. Her gums and tongue have good color, and her last bowel movement was normal. She did not greet us at the door, which is unusual. We live in a remote area with no veterinary access. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

I have a 6-month-old golden retriever puppy who has been experiencing intermittent bouts of diarrhea and vomiting, along with a decrease in appetite. She has also been observed eating grass. Should I be worried, and what should I do?

I have a male smooth collie mix with Cushing's disease. He's nine years old and has been with me since he was a stray at 3 months old. He's gasping for air, has a big tummy, and mostly rests until it's time to eat or drink. I'm wondering how he feels and if it's time to consider euthanasia. I feel I may be delaying this decision for my own sake.

I have an 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Elsa who is suddenly having difficulty maintaining her balance on surfaces other than carpet. She was also angry this morning and could only eat a few bites of food before retreating. About 6 months ago, she was diagnosed with a condition where she couldn't absorb protein from her food, leading to weight and muscle mass loss and periods of fluid retention. She is now on a daily regimen of steroids. What could be causing her new symptoms and should the veterinarian be aware of her previous condition?
