My 12-year-old Shih Tzu named Rosie has congestive heart failure and is on Vetmedin and Furosemide. She has been experiencing heavy breathing and a distended stomach, along with a cough. The heavy breathing started again tonight, even though she was better after being prescribed the diuretic a couple of weeks ago. Should I increase the diuretic dosage, and is it safe to give an extra dose or half dose to relieve her symptoms until we can take her to the vet tomorrow?

My dog, Franky Vu, has been licking his paw and developing rashes, possibly due to a broken toe or a lick granuloma. The licking started in late October and early November. He has been on oral antibiotics and steroids, but the issue persists. What can I do to help him heal and manage his anxiety and stress?
