My 13-year-old pug, Bug, has been experiencing diarrhea for over a week. She had 2 inches of her intestines removed when she was younger. Despite trying remedies like psyllium husk and kaolin/pectin, the diarrhea persists. She drinks a lot of water and has started peeing in the house. Her appetite remains good, but her face looks a bit gaunt. What else can be done or prescribed without needing blood tests?

I gave my 12-year-old, 80-pound German Shepherd named Sirra 400 mg of ibuprofen about half an hour ago to help with pain in her back hind quarters. She started shivering but now seems calmed down. What should I do?

I have two female dachshunds, a mother and daughter, who were getting along until they both came into heat at the same time and started fighting. They have since been spayed, but they still growl at each other and can't be in the same room. What can I do to help them get along again?

My dog, Kosmo, has been obsessively biting at his paws and legs for about a week, causing bleeding and swelling. I've been cleaning and treating the wounds, but he doesn't seem to be improving. He's also had recent lifestyle changes, such as less exercise and attention. Could these changes be related to his behavior, and should I treat this at home or consider antibiotics or a vet visit?
