My 13-year-old schnauzer named Liebchen, who has osteosarcoma, has blood in her urine. She is nearly blind with cataracts, goes out to pee often, has a normal appetite, and possibly elevated thirst. What could be causing this and what can I do to help until I can arrange a visit to the vet?

I have a 5-year-old Siberian Husky that experienced a strange incident where he was stuck in a weird position, possibly scratching himself, and then had weak, shaky back legs and lost control of his bladder, but regained strength within 30 minutes. What could have happened?

I have a 4-year-old Vizsla named Freeda who has been throwing up since yesterday morning. She threw up twice yesterday morning, but was able to keep food down the rest of the day. She threw up again last night before bed. This morning, she threw up four times since 6 am, with liquid/mucus, and has not eaten. She also had soft/mushy bowel movements last night and this morning. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I have a urology question for my 14-year-old spayed Chihuahua who has been losing control of her bladder for the past 9 months. My local vet has tried estrogen treatment, but it only caused swelling and made her look in heat. The vet has taken urine samples and X-rays, which came back clean, but we are still unsure of the cause. Can you provide some ideas for my local vet to consider?

My 11-year-old Beagle Shepherd, Josie, has a large tumor on her spleen. The vet estimates the surgery to remove and test it for cancer to cost between $2500-3000. If it's cancerous, I don't want to put her through treatments. Can I leave the tumor in, and what are the risks?

My 7-month-old German Shepherd mix, weighing 51 lbs, got into my bottle of Effexor ER 75 mg while I was at work. I found all the pills except for one, and some capsules were broken open with powder on the floor. The dog is acting fine and not showing any signs of distress. Should I be concerned, and what should I do?
