My 13-year-old German Shepherd has been showing signs of fear towards noises, difficulty coming down stairs, occasional house soiling upon waking, reluctance to be outside, constant barking when outside, and a shift from being mostly independent to focusing on me while ignoring my husband and daughter. I accidentally gave my small dog (weighs about 20 lbs) a 2mg Prazosin capsule meant for my bigger, 60 lb. dog. That was about 10 hours ago. He is now having trouble walking and seems disoriented. My 12-year-old American bulldog was treated for swelling in her rear lower joint 12 days ago. She finished her Baytril on Thursday and has three more days of prednisone QOD. She now has a large pocket of fluid on her right front upper joint with the same symptoms: pain, heat to the area, and a fever of 103.4. I'm using cool compresses. This time, the swelling occurred over a 30-minute span. Could it be gout?

My elderly Husky has been diagnosed with arthritis and is on medication. He has lost control of his bowels and bladder, has difficulty getting up but can still walk, and is excited to see me. He eats a large amount of food every evening but is losing weight. There is no diarrhea. Could this be due to cancer or diabetes?
